Open Studio Address is 88 Hatch Street, New Bedford, MA

We will meet inside where some of the first stuios begin. I will put in the comments a more specific location when I iarrive and check it out.

The studios are open 10-6pm, so anyone can get there early or enjoy earlier.

The group will meet at 4pm and tour and talk to artists together. There will also be some music in some spaces and refreshments. See original art in process and available for purchase.

FYI public event to learn about Equal Exchange and Fair Trade practices in connecting farm to community with food. Start and end time are estimated.

Option for overnight in basic dorms.
Parking, meals and fair trade coffee, lecture and activities provided for summit attendees. Saturday check out includes breakfast on campus and free optional site tour of Equal Exchange coffee roastery in Bridgewater, MA.

The Equal Exchange Summit is more than just another conference, and this year, we are gathering amidst a convergence of several significant points of pressure. We continue our work together during a period of deep political dysfunction, historically high cocoa and coffee prices, unpredictable trade and tariff policies, and a food system that continues to consolidate.

The Summit is a chance to reflect on where we are, reconnect as a community, and look ahead to the future we’re building together. As we celebrate 40 years, we recognize that this work has always been collective—it would not exist without you. This is a space to share ideas, deepen relationships, and move into action that goes beyond voting with your dollar—grounded in real, human connection.

Every year Rhode Island Food Fights puts together a list of at least 50 locations throughout the state of iced coffee locations to redeem 1 small or participating size with pre bought passport voucher. Valued at $300 worth of iced coffee if you go to all locations.

Let’s kick out iced coffee month whether you purchase the $40 pass or not, by having our own coffee chat!

If you participate in the coffee challenge, at the end of the month, you will be emailed to vote on your favorite iced coffee location as the people’s choice award. Past wins include Fundati (Lincoln, Ri) Burgundian (Attleboro, MA) and Maria Maria (Food truck).

After purchase from outside curator, the list will be mailed directly to you a couple days before the month starts so you can plan your route.

Some new businesses pop up and some become very popular.

It’s a chance to discover new places that become favorites. Feel free to visit locations on your own leisure or coordinate with other members.

You can go to any or all locations on the annual changing list as long as get there before the end of the month’s expiration.

You can always purchase additional items at the participating locations and consider tipping coffee barista if you are able.

If you do purchase the passport voucher, add a note to comments or if you join for the coffee chat bring the list in case you want to coordinate with each other future iced coffee visits or chats.
