What we’re about
We are a London-based group for both established and aspiring children's book authors designed to support and inspire. We host regular writing meet-ups in lovely quiet London locations to help you get those words down.
These are free to attend - all we ask is that you are quiet for the 2-3 hour writing period. After that, do stay for a drink and a chat to get to know your fellow authors. There's no formal sharing of work, but feel free to talk about your writing project - us children's book writers tend to be a helpful, generous and constructive bunch!
We hope you'll join us on our trips throughout the year to events such as the Hay Book Festival, the Edinburgh Book Festival and the Bath Children's Literature Festival (a personal favourite). We also plan to organise some week-long writing retreats both in the UK and France so watch this space. Happy writing!
