Minecraft Server Launch Night

Our next group game will be... Minecraft. This game likely needs no introduction, Minecraft popularised the idea of digital Lego and kickstarted the open world survival craft genre.

I am posting this event to check enough people are interested to make this worth it, plus get some more details. It has not been decided yet if we will be on the Java or Bedrock edition - this depends on how you answer the question on your RSVP. We might make this PC only if there's isn't much demand to join via consoles/mobile. Unless there's an outcry I am planning to play on Survival mode.

To join you'll need the following:
1. A device that runs Minecraft, thankfully almost any electronic device which has come out the last few years runs it
2. Purchase the game. The game costs $30 for PC (prices for other platforms might vary). If you're not sure what platform to buy it on, you might want to hold off until we've decided to be cross-platform or PC only. Don't wait for a sale, the game only goes on sale on major anniversaries.
3. Install Discord and join via the link in the comments. It will be MANDATORY to be on Discord to take part, the details to join the server will be posted on Discord only.
4. (optional) Buy a headset. Being able to speak as well as listen to voice chat makes a big difference.

I will probably be taking a backseat in this so it would be helpful to have 1 or 2 server admins. For trust reasons, it needs to be people I've met in real life, so if that is the case for you and you're interested in this role please let me know.
