The Big Social: Summer Party ⛱️🔆🍻

This was one of our most popular events last year and if you were in attendance you'll likely agree it was a fun night with a great atmosphere. These socials only happen once every few months so be there or be FOMO, this is the summer party.

The very optional and not at all serious dress code is summer holiday outfits: Hawaiian shirts, shorts, swimwear (with something else on top please), sunglasses, sun hats, tropical animal costumes etc. You do not have to do follow this and can dress however you'd like.

You can now bring up to 5 friends who are not on Meetup! If you bring any +1s you MUST add them to your RSVP. If there's no RSVP or +1 for you, you may not get access to the venue. Importantly, we're expecting everyone including your guests to get involved and meet other members. I'll be checking and rude people will be asked to go somewhere else.

About the venue

Bridge End Social is a very short walk over the water from the main part of the city centre. This keeps us well away from crazy Saturday night crowds plus background music is kept to a level where you can have a conversation without shouting. New members are very welcome!

• Upstairs - A cool, laidback setting with a bar and plenty of seating
• Downstairs - Our private room with comfy sofas, pool and shuffleboard
• Outside - Two outdoor seating areas with the larger one at the back with views of the canal

How to get here

Bridge End Social is on the south bank and is a very short walk over the bridge from Call Lane. All train and bus connections into Leeds are a 5-10 minute walk from the venue.

If arriving by car, there is very limited street parking near the venue. Please use one of the multi-storey car parks which have plenty of spaces at this time of day. Trinity Leeds Car Park is one of the closest. Please do not drink and drive.

Later in the evening...

The exact time the venue closes depends on how many people are at the venue. Members generally head to another venue later into the evening. The best way to get assistance on the night is the WhatsApp group, comments on here are usually missed.

We highly recommend arriving 1-2 hours from the start of the event, if possible.
