New Members Walk (all welcome)

Are you a new or returning member who enjoys walks or perhaps just want to meet the group in a quieter setting than a bar/pub? This is the event for you. We're doing a relaxed pace walk from the city centre up to Kirkstall Abbey.

All members are welcome to this event regardless of how many events you've been to, however you should be open to meeting new people if you want to attend. Most new members come by themselves so there's no need to worry, but you can add up to 5 guests to your RSVP if you'd like.

We'll meet in City Square which is just across from Leeds rail station and a short walk from all bus connections. Although we can't meet you part of the way there, you can leave at any time and there are nearby bus stops all along the route.

Start: City Square @ 13:00
Distance: 4 miles
Challenge: Easy, walk is mostly on flat, hard ground
Destination: Kirkstall Abbey, from here regular busses are available back into Leeds, alternatively there is a train station approx 10 mins walk away.
