[Accessible Route] Extra Walk: South Bank New Town

Walk with an accessible route for wheelchair users however all members are encouraged to attend. This event is intended to put accessibility first, so if you have another way we can make the event accessible for you let me know and we'll try to accomdate.

The South Bank area is receiving rapid redevelopment, in particular Aire Park plus the New Town designation as granted by the central government. We'll meet at the standard place at City Square then pass under the train station to do a walking tour around this area to see the new micro parks and buildings which have recently been constructed. We'll finish off at Monk Bridge Viaduct Garden where a New Members Event is taking place directly after this one.

Start: City Square @ 12:30
Distance: 2-3 miles
Challenge: Easy, walk is all on pedestrian routes
Destination: Monk Bridge Viaduct Gardens (accessible via lift). This is within the city centre if you'd like to check out somewhere different afterwards, or just head back to the train or bus station.
