Easter Monday: 'Bring-Your-Own' Pub Lunch at The Eagle, Old Amersham
The Eagle, High Street, HP7 0DY, Amersham, GBThis event can pair with, and follows on from the optional 6 mile Easter Monday Walk from this same pub, which starts at 11:00am.
This is a bring your own pub lunch. The Eagle at Old Amersham is perfect for this type of lunch, because they don't do food, so they welcome people bringing their own food* and they provide plates and cutlery. And if it's a nice day it has access to Barn Meadow Recreation (Cricket) Ground via the beer garden's gate.* As long as it's not too strongly-scented to disturb others, such as strong curry.
To find us if we're outside, walk through the pub, to the rear terrace and go through the garden gate and walk across the stream and we'll be on the grass the other side of the stream (or in the pub if it's a cold day).
The price for attending this event is £2 to cover costs, or free if you're also attending the walk earlier in the day (follow this link for that walk).
Timing
I've put the start time for the lunch as 2pm to make sure we're back from the earlier walk, but we'll may be back 1:30pm, so if you're happy that you might have to wait a bit, 1:30pm is probably a better time to arrive.Free Parking
