Booking Now Open! CYW Big Weekend Away in the Peak District

Booking now open! First come first serve!

We've booked large, self-catering group accommodation for 3 nights near Bakewell in the Peak District and you can now reserve your place!

For 3 nights' accommodation, including a £5 contribution to basic food such as tea/coffee/milk, the total cost is £83.40

Note: signing up to the event on Meetup will not guarantee you a spot, please contact chair@chilterns2030s.org.uk to find out details for the deposit of £45 to reserve your space on a first-come-first-serve basis and receive your booking form.

Camping and booking your own accommodation nearby is also an option for those who'd like to join for the walks but want their own space. You can camp at the accommodation for a small contribution to the overall booking cost/use of facilities, but spaces are limited.

Ramblers membership will be required to join us for this weekend away.

We're still finalising the exact walk details, but highlights include Mam Tor and Lud's Church, as well as taking advantage of the Monsal Trail on our doorstep. Saturday will see a choice of two walks, one more challenging than the other.

If you're coming by train, we would recommend getting the train to Matlock or Buxton, and then either bus from there or we can try to arrange a lift.
