ISC's Science Social
Details
Join the Illinois Science Council (ISC), Chientist, and us, ChiTownBio, for an epic night of conversations with other scientists and science enthusiasts from around Chicagoland. We're being graciously hosted by Half Sour, a local, corner bar and restaurant that brings people in the community together to celebrate Printers Row, the South Loop, and Chicago as a whole.
This is a casual event that's being hosted mainly by ISC, and we're along for the ride. Learn about various outreach nonprofits in Chicago specifically working to improve professional and adult amateur science communications and networks in Chicago.
As the ISC has described past Science Socials:
- ISC invites everyone to come hang out with other fans of science for drinks and casual conversation. No agenda, no program, no registration required, just chatting and meeting new people who are part of Chicago’s science community. If you’re open to it, we’d love to hear your opinion on what you’d like to see in science outreach options in Chicago. It’s not required; we’re just interested.
We're excited to be participating and excited to see you all there!
