Volunteer Discussion and Meeting
Details
At ChiTownBio, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive and accessible space where people from all backgrounds can learn, experiment, and collaborate in the life sciences. Our mission is to democratize biotechnology, empowering Chicagoans to explore innovative solutions to local challenges while fostering a strong community of citizen scientists and biotechnologists. Through education, hands-on experiences, and community engagement, we strive to make the tools and knowledge of biotechnology available to everyone.
But how do we foster that community? We have a group of members that are at work getting us set up and moving the lab forward, but how can people give back as volunteers? That's a conversation we really want to have, and we want your feedback in doing so. How would you like to volunteer at the organization? What skills would you like to see us encourage and foster? How can you give back while developing personal skills in a way that can benefit us all and deepen the well that is the Chicago biotech community?
Join us for what will hopefully be a lively and meaningful conversation. Light refreshments will be provided, and we look forward to seeing you all!
