What we’re about
This is a group for those wanting to explore the beautiful lakes in Colorado by backpacking to them for short weekend stays of one or two nights. I typically pick lakes that are around 3 to 4 miles from the trailhead. So the hikes are not too demanding. We will also meet to hike in between backpacking expeditions in order to get in shape and to plan out what equipment is needed. I will be here to help guide those that are new to backpacking with their equipment. It is also a group for Christians or those curious about Jesus to get to know each other and have spiritual discussions. After dinner we will get a campfire going (if permitted) and have an opportunity to hang around the fire and get to know each other by sharing with each other personally and spiritually.
