"SHROVE TUESDAY” or “FAT TUESDAY” PANCAKE SUPPER
Details
Tuesday, February 17th 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., “SHROVE TUESDAY” or “FAT TUESDAY” PANCAKE SUPPER at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners, Georgia 30092.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and the day before has traditionally been known as “Shrove Tuesday” or “Fat Tuesday”. Mardi Gras is French for “Fat Tuesday” — meaning it’s the last opportunity to eat rich food before the fast of Lent begins. To honor this age-old tradition, come to Christ the King, and enjoy a pancake supper in the fellowship hall. Great fun with competing pancake chefs. Supper is free but a free will offering accepted. Event is a fund raiser prepared and presented by the Youth of Christ the King.
