About us
Above all, CDS is people; people in community. Although, for some, it is not practical to spend time physically together, we are still a group of Christian singles in friendship, caring and praying for each other. We welcome new members to our group, but to prevent abuses of this app, new members will have to be approved before posting pictures or comments. You may notice from any of the pictures that we are a more senior singles group (50+).

Thrasher Park, 93 Park Drive, Norcross, GA, USJoin us at Thrasher Park for a fun, FREE Friday night of live music on May 22, 2026, from 7:30–9:30 p.m. at 93 Park Drive in Norcross! Bring your lawn chair or a cozy blanket, arrive early to claim your spot, and enjoy a picnic under the evening sky (coolers are welcome). Walk in the Park at Bethesda Park

Meet at the senior center. Bring water and walking shoes for one or two loops around a paved pathway. We may go to a restaurant for lunch afterwards.

Annual Memorial Day Picnic/Cookout
Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross, GA, USMonday, May 25th 3:00 p.m. The Annual Memorial Day Picnic/Cookout will be held on the Veranda at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Pkwy, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092, Rain or Shine.
We’ll have hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and play some lawn games like Corn Hole or bring your favorite game. Bring a side dish or dessert contribution to the meal. (Please do not bring chips.) Suggested side dishes are: Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, Macaroni and Cheese, Green Salad, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Three Bean Salad. We need to coordinate sides so we don’t have all of one thing. Contact Carol or Ingrid and tell them what you are bringing. An RSVP to Carol or Ingrid is REQUIRED by May 22nd.
