About us

This group is for Christian singles 55+ in the Ballantyne/South Charlotte area who enjoy staying active, leading a healthy lifestyle (or would like to), meaninful conversation and living with faith and purpose.

We'll gather for fellowship, walks & hikes in green spaces, coffee conversations and opportunites to serve our community together.
For example, I'm involved with another MeetUp that meets twice a month in Uptown Charlotte to provide food, clothing, and hope to those experienceing homelessness.

Friendship is our focus, as well as encouraging one another in faith, support healthy lifestyle habits, stay active and have fun with others that share these values.

HI! I'm DJ (Debra is my given name). I'm the founder of Health4Purpose (a natural health coaching ministry). As a Christian, I believe that caring for our health, encouraging one another in faith, and serving others are all part of living out our God-given purpose.

To help keep the community welcoming and enjoyable, we ask members to embrace a few simple values:

  • Respect - Treat others with kindness and courtesy
  • Faith-centered fellowship - encouraging one another in our Christian walk
  • Friendship first - building genuine connections and community
  • Active living - enjoying walks, hikes, and healthy activites
  • Service - open to participating in opportunities to serve others in our community

If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, we'd love to have you join us ~ DJ
