ABOUT OUR GROUP: The Christian Singles of Orange County Meetup group is for Christian singles who are 50 years to 100 years young, who are looking to enhance their social lives, meet with existing Christian friends, and establish new connections and friendships, and possibly find your special someone. This group is for Christian singles who live or work in Orange County, and vicinity within 15 miles of Orange County. This is a private Meetup group, so we screen our members, and your membership and the group’ events and are hidden from public view and non-members. Only members of this group can view our Meetup group’s full contents, events and members.

PURPOSE: Experience fellowship, connection and events with other Christian singles in a safe environment. Our mission is to create Fun Social and Spiritual Activities and Events where we can enjoy the fellowship of other Christian singles and develop and maintain healthy connections and develop friendships. Our events will include dining, hiking, walks in the park, picnics, prayer, Bible study, Christian events, volunteering, taco Tuesday, live music events, concerts in the park, celebrations, fairs and festivals, tea and coffee, wine tasting, boards games, watching sports, car shows, day trips, watching movies, online Zoom events, day at the beach, train rides, and other social events. We also are open to your ideas and suggestions for events.

We Need Event Organizers and Hosts: We value your suggestions and ideas for events, so we encourage you to become an event organizer. For a meetup group to be of value, to grow, and be successful, creative organizers for the group are necessary.

MEMBERSHIP POLICIES & DISCLAIMER
All members are required to comply with these Membership Policies. These policies are intended to ensure the safety and security of our members. It also ensures the integrity of our group by ensuring accountability.

1. MEMBERSHIP: This group is for active Christian singles who are 50 years to 100 years young. Members are also expected to be spiritually active at their local church assembly, and active in participating in our group events. For the safety and security of the group, we must be able to identify everyone who is a member of this group. Profile photos are required and must be of yourself. They must be current, clear, and unobscured. Photos must NOT have any of the following: Sunglasses, Hats, face-covering, scarves, group shots, animals, nature scenes, blurry photos, shirtless photos, provocative or suggestive photos. Profile Names must be your real first name (no titles, nicknames, abbreviations, letters, symbols or numbers).
2. EVENTS: Everyone who attends an event must RSVP and must be on the “Going” list. This is to ensure an accurate count of attendees when making reservations. If you change your mind, we request that you change your RSVP to “Not Going” or notify the Host via Text or Meetup messaging. All event attendees are require to read and agree to the Attendance Guidelines to ensure a quality and smooth event for everyone. “No-Shows” will either be removed from the group or not be allowed to attend future events.
3. BEHAVIOR: Please remember that we are Christians and our conduct should reflect Christ. Everyone is expected to be courteous, respectful, considerate, gracious and maintain sober behavior. Everyone is required to abstain from discussing hot topics that would create discord or arguments. This includes debating or talking negative about theological differences, politics, wars, race, other people, or other Meetup groups. Negative language (cursing, swearing, cussing, obscene language) is also prohibited.
4. HARASSMENT/ STALKING: Harassment and stalking are not tolerated. This includes unsolicited messages via Meetup, physical contact (touching) without the other person’s consent, making suggestive verbal comments, leering, using explicit language, and stalking. Unless you already know each other, members are prohibited from contacting another member through Meetup messaging. Please report any violators to the group organizer.
5. EVENT PHOTOS: Photos of our events may be taken by the organizer and other attendees and posted on Meetup and social media to promote events. If you don’t want your photo taken, please let us know, or avoid when photos are taken.

Each attendee is responsible for navigating through the Meetup website and App. The hosts, organizers, and other attendees do not provide Meetup training or Tech support. You also agree that your membership of this group is based on an "at will" basis.
