Christianity Explored

In the fourth session of the Christianity Explored series, we will explore the cost of our rescue. Sin carries deadly consequences, and we cannot do anything on our own to undo them. But Jesus did not only come to expose our failure. He was the only one who could address the problem and he did so at the cost of his own life.

In the fifth session of the Christianity Explored series, we will explore Jesus' resurrection. After the cross, it looks like the end for Jesus and his followers. But it turns out that his death was part of his plan all along. Through his death and resurrection, he decisively deals with humanity's fall—just as he told his followers he would do.

In the sixth session of the Christianity Explored series, we will explore Jesus' gift. He offers the welcome of his royal family—to be known, loved, and brought into a relationship with him that lasts forever. The Bible calls this gift grace and in this session we consider what the Bible says about what it means to receive that grace and how it reshapes our identity and future.

In the seventh and final session of the Christianity Explored series, everything comes into focus. At the center of the Gospel according to Mark is Jesus' key question: "Who do you say I am?" Each one of us must answer this question, and this closing session guides us through all we've seen and heard so we can consider what it means to believe in and follow Jesus—what it means to say, "You are the Messiah."
