The weekend of June 28 marks the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, an event that kicked off the LGBTQ+ rights movement. The meeting point, Marsha P. Johnson Park is named after the trans woman who incited the riot by throwing loose change and the cops who were raiding the Stonewall Inn.

Disclaimer: when I include a nonprofit/museum/random establishment that does something positive for the community, it's because I want to raise funds for them. We raised $10 for Portside NY despite Carolina offering a free tour of her vessel. If you want to donate, here's the link: https://portsidenewyork.networkforgood.com/projects/144802-main-giving-page
