The Lord's Supper — A Gospel Church in Rochester, NY
A new kind of church gathering happening every Sunday at 1:30 PM at Merchant's Grill (881 Merchants Rd, Rochester) in their private Hitchcock Lounge, starting September 27, 2026 and running through December 13.

What it is: Instead of a traditional sanctuary service, worship happens entirely around a shared meal, styled after a Passover Seder — songs, Scripture, a short Gospel teaching, and prayer are woven course-by-course through the food, ending with the Lord's Supper (bread and cup) for believers.
Who it's for: Believers and spiritual seekers are invited to the full experience. Non-believers are always welcome to eat and observe everything, though the bread-and-cup communion itself is reserved for those who believe in Christ — they're upfront about which part is which so no one feels caught off guard.
The meal is free for anyone who RSVPs by the Thursday before (they just need a headcount for the restaurant). RSVP by joining the group. (Zoom meeting required for all attendees)
50 spots each Sunday. Free, but donations welcome to help cover meal.
Beliefs: Straightforward Bible believing/reformed tradition/progressive/gospel convictions — Trinity, Scripture as final authority, Christ's death and resurrection, salvation by grace through faith.

Join us every Sunday starting 9/27 at 1:30 PM for a Gospel-centered gathering built entirely around a shared meal — Seder-style worship with songs, Scripture, a short teaching, and the Lord's Supper, all woven through the courses of dinner.This is a free meal, though we do take an offering to help support the costs of the meal.
Held at Merchant's Grill (881 Merchants Rd, Rochester, NY) in a private room.
Meals are free for guests who RSVP in advance. All are welcome — believers, seekers, and the simply curious.
Before you attend:
