As the harvest gives way to autumn, “Let What Is Dead Rest” asks us to recognize what has completed its purpose—old identities, patterns, expectations, and attachments that no longer belong in the season ahead. As the darkness deepens toward Samhain, we honor what has ended rather than trying to revive it, allowing what is dead to return to the earth. In making space for endings, we make space for transformation, renewal, and what waits beyond the darkness.
