Angriff: World War II Tabletop Game - Skirmish at Bir Enba

Details

If you have an interest in World War II history and would like to participate in battle simulations played with tabletop miniatures and scenery (HO Train Scale), come and join me at this event. I’m using a game system developed in the 1960s called "Angriff" and used by West Point students back in the day for “sand table” battle simulations.

Please note: This event is not sponsored by the Boone County Public Library.

Defend the British Empire! Take on Italian forces under the command of Marshal Rodolfo Graziani, commander of the Italian Army in North Africa. Push your Matilda tanks forward against Italian M11-39 and M13-40 tanks. Overrun Italian infantry units and anti-tank gun positions. Stike a blow for the Western Allies against the Axis Powers.

No experience necessary! New players are more than welcome.
During this event, I’ll provide an overview of the “quick play” version of the game. I’ll also demonstrate a few small actions on the tabletop with miniatures before we actually begin the battle.

Anything you need is provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and imagination!

As always, thanks for being gamers!
