Spark Meetup 2016 #3

August in Cincinnati is hot, but not as hot as Apache Spark!!! We hope you can join us for our third Meetup of the year.

6:00 - 6:30 - Social half hour with pizza and drinks provided by IlluminationWorks

6:30 - 6:50 - What's new in Spark 2.0. Darin McBeath will present on the highlights of the latest Spark 2.0 release.

6:50 - 7:50 - RDDs, Dataframes, and Datsets - Curt Kohler will give an overview of the different APIs, compare, contrast and discus when each is appropriate, as well as walk through a simple program written using each API.

7:50 - 8:30 - Succint, using Spark as a search engine. Darin McBeath will present on his experience working with AMP Labs' Succint project and running searches across compressed RDDs

8:30 - General discussion
