Civic Technology for Governance: Vision of Oakland (2:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.)
An Open Forum with Oakland City Officials, IIE/TechWomen, Chief Information Officer of San Francisco, and U.S. State Department Senior Adviser for Global Cities Ian Klaus on enhancing municipality-to-citizen and citizen-to-citizen communications, strengthening government infrastructure and services, and approaching public good by balance of potential technologies with the necessities of 21st century security readiness.

A tutorial from venture capitalists for entrepreneurs on fundamentals of navigating investment landscapes.

Hosted by the Bay Area Executives Group, the business roundtable will feature discussion on the factors of Oakland’s inclusive prosperity through the nexus of business and human rights, youth education and workforce readiness, diversity (including age, skillsets, technology, etc.), and culture.
