Welcome + Workflow Overview
o Introduction and workshop goals.
o Review of the Photoshop interface and essential workspace settings for photo editing.
o Key concept: Non-destructive editing.
o Overview: Adobe Camera Raw for global edits, Photoshop for masking, local enhancements, and compositing.
o Zoom housekeeping: how to share your screen, use chat, ask questions, and follow along.
Segment 1: Adobe Camera Raw for Masking and Preprocessing Demo (15 min)
o Opening images from Lightroom Classic or Bridge into ACR.
o Using ACR masking tools: Subject, Sky, Background, AI Landscape, and Brush.
o Inverting, duplicating, and combining masks, Luma / Color mask.
o Making selective adjustments before sending to Photoshop.
o Hands-On (20 minutes)
Students create and refine ACR masks on their own images.
o Apply targeted exposure, color, and contrast corrections.
o Export to Photoshop as a Smart Object or layered file.
o QA and Check-In (5 minutes)
