About us

Absolutely everyone who loves books and good conversation is welcome here whether you're someone who reads a book a week or fits in a few a year, whether you're into bestsellers, hidden indie gems, or dog eared classics. You don’t need a literature degree or a fancy vocabulary just curiosity and a willingness to share what a story made you feel or think. All ages, backgrounds, and reading tastes are part of what makes our group come alive, and every meetup includes a friendly host who’s there to greet you, help things run smoothly, and make sure everyone feels seen and included.

We’re building a culture where people feel safe to say, 'I didn’t get that part' or 'This character really made me cry' without fear of judgment. Our vibe is warm, reflective, and real we’re not here to show off how much we know, but to explore how books shape the way we see the world. The host guides each discussion to keep things flowing and inclusive, making space for quiet voices and lively debates alike. Over time, members often find themselves thinking deeper, listening more openly, and even gaining confidence to share thoughts they once kept to themselves.

We choose meeting spots that are physically accessible, with ramped entrances, gender neutral restrooms where possible, and quiet corners for those who need a break from the buzz. If you have a specific need like large print books, ASL interpretation, or seating accommodations we’re happy to arrange it with a little notice because everyone deserves a seat at the table. Our hosts arrive early to check in with members and make sure the space feels comfortable and welcoming for all.

While we don’t host formal networking events or pitch sessions, something beautiful happens naturally people connect. You might meet someone who loves the same obscure poet you do, or find yourself trading book recommendations with someone who changes your reading list forever. Friendships grow out of shared insights and laughter over tea, and those connections often extend beyond the meetup. But the focus always stays on authentic interaction, not transactions.

If you’ve ever finished a book and immediately wanted to talk to someone about it, this is your place. Join us for a night of thoughtful talk, warm drinks, and the kind of conversations that stay with you long after you’ve closed the cover. With a host guiding each gathering and a circle of curious readers ready to listen and share, you’ll walk away not just with new book ideas, but with a renewed sense of connection. Come as you are book in hand or just in heart and find your people.
