CircleSongs Atlanta is like a drum circle—but for voices! Vocalist Diane Eaton leads the group by creating simple, singable musical patterns, and you join in—either by yourself or with others, whatever feels most comfortable. Then another layer is added, and another, and before long, we’re immersed in rhythm, harmony, and the amazing feeling of co-creating something alive, expressive, and brand new. Along the way, there’s room to listen deeply, loosen up, and let your voice express something real, joyful, and uniquely yours.

I’ll be co-leading the event with Rebekka Goldsmith and Elise Witt, two of Atlanta’s musical luminaries with rich backgrounds in performing, leading workshops, songwriting, and leading collaborative vocal community events.
Elise has studied extensively with Bobby McFerrin and Rhiannon —arguably the two responsible for the explosion of CircleSinging around the world. She has performed and taught at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and is known for encouraging people to revel in their voices and join with others to create joyful choruses.
Rebekka has been teaching singing, vocal improvisation, ritual and community-building experiences for 20 years. She, too, has studied directly with Rhiannon, and is a certified professional coach and a certified instructor of Somatic Voicework.
And, you know me, I think! In case you don't: I’ve been a jazz/pop vocalist and have led vocal groups over the last 30 years. Once I moved to Atlanta, I became lead vocalist with the six-piece After Hours Jazz Ensemble for several years until the pandemic shut down the music scene in town. I founded CircleSongs Atlanta in August 2025. I’m so glad you’re a part of it!
