It’s like a drum circle for voices! CircleSongs Atlanta, led by former music director and vocalist Diane Eaton, brings voices together in new, unscripted ways. Melodies, harmonies, rhythms, and more interweave and we get to be the instruments!

Together, we invent melodies, rhythms, grooves, and harmonies, layering our voices to create spontaneous music that's sometimes surprisingly beautiful, sometimes delightfully silly, and always uniquely ours.
You can settle into a repeating musical pattern, experiment with your own ideas, or even step into the spotlight for a little solo improvisation. There's room for everyone to contribute in their own way.
If you love to sing, can carry a tune, and are ready to have some fun, come join us! No improvisation experience necessary.
A few details:- Please bring water to stay hydrated.
- Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.
- Sessions are offered on a sliding-scale donation basis: $5–$45. Give what feels right to you.

A COMMUNITY SING!

Our Community Sings bring together people who love to sing for an afternoon of harmony, rhythm, improvisation, laughter, and spontaneous music-making. You don’t need to prepare anything, learn songs ahead of time, or worry about getting it “right.” We’ll create the music together in the moment.
You’ll be guided by an experienced team of Atlanta-area singers, song leaders, improvisers, and musicians: Elise Witt, Don Milton, Travis McAfee, Gayanne Geurin, and Diane Eaton. Collectively, they bring decades of experience leading community singing, vocal improvisation, ensemble music, and participatory music-making—and, just as important, they know how to create a welcoming space where people can relax, experiment, listen, contribute, and have fun.
To register, visit bit.ly/SINGNOV28Throughout the afternoon, we may explore layered vocal patterns, grooves, harmonies, call-and-response, improvised songs, and other ways of making music with nothing but our voices. Sometimes the whole room is singing; sometimes smaller groups or individual voices emerge. No two Community Sings are ever quite the same!
This is not a performance and there is no audience. It’s about the pleasure of singing together and discovering what can happen when a roomful of voices begins listening and responding to one another.
