Build Night - Bring your projects!

BUILD NIGHTS ARE BACK!!
Monthly Build Night from 5:30pm 3rd Friday evening of the month at Circuit Launch.

Open to everyone, fun for the whole family! Join us every third Friday evening of the month for a trifecta of awesomeness:
– Robot and Electronics projects,
– Sewing and fabric and textile repair,
– General Repair.

Robot and Electronics projects: Bring a project or discover one here: we
provide the space, tools and peer learning - you bring your project and enthusiasm!

Sewing: Learn to do simple mending or get help with technical fabric and textile projects. In addition to regular machines our Sewing Lab features heavy-duty industrial sewing machines and sergers. Our mentor CC has worked for Tesla and SuitX and has vast sewing machine repair and maintenance experience; bring your own machine to tune up for tip-top operation and sew alongside others.

General Repair: Bring your broken, non-functioning things – electronic gadgets, appliances, computers, toys, sewing machines, fabric items, etc.– for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. We’ll provide workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. First-time repairers and “Fixing Families” are heartily encouraged to attend. Peter Mui from Fixit Clinic (https://www.fixitclinic.org/) will be on hand.

– U18s heartily welcome with a participating adult.
– Equipment use outside of the soldering and debugging gear requires
certification.
– NOTE: Masks are required for all who attend as per the Alameda County
Indoor mask mandate.

Attend Virtually: During the pandemic we fell in love with collaborative work sessions with mixed in-person and virtual peeps! Point a webcam at
your workbench or stream your screen, come work on projects with us wherever you are in the world! Join us virtually through our Discord Server (https://discord.gg/dx2PYa5gPY). (Send us a message ahead of time if you are joining virtually so we know to set up the portal.)
