Hey Circuit Launch gang! We’re stoked to kick off a group build (Friday Evenings) of the Ratrig V-core 3.1 3D Printer. (starting as soon as we finalize who is building their own an receive the kit)

Join us for the 500mm² build or purchase a kit and build one along side us. (Please email me and let me know if you want to buy a kit, as i am working on a group purchase)

Ratrig V-core 3.1 3D Printer. 500mm/s print speeds! It’s a badass DIY kit for a CoreXY 3D Printer, and it doesn’t hold back on anything.

Check it out here: https://v-core.ratrig.com/
And here: https://us.ratrig.com/3d-printers/v-core/v-core3configurable.html

This V-Core 3.1 is a total beast: Precision: It’s got a 3-point kinematic bed and 3 independently driven Z motors for bed-levelling. Also, its bed plate expands while staying perfectly flat - pretty neat, huh? Robustness: This thing is built like a tank with a 30 Series aluminium frame, 4mm thick anodized aluminium plates, and 9mm belts. And the weight of the Z drivetrain and bed? That’s on the Z motor mounts, not the motors. High-Quality Components: We’re talking 6mm cast tooling plate for the print bed, MGN12 Linear Rails for movement, the works. Enhanced Z Resolution: The V-Core 3.1 uses TR8X4mm lead screws, doubling the Z resolution of your layers and multiplying the holding torque. It’s all about that precision and control.Rat Rig - V-Core

The V-Core 3 is a premium DIY kit for a CoreXY 3D Printer with no compromises.Rat Rig V-Core 3.1 - Configurable kitAnd there’s more: Customizability: You can get it as a complete kit or a configurable kit if you fancy picking your own electronics. There are four build volumes available as standard options: 200, 300, 400, and 500 mm^3. Plus, it comes with the EVA 3 Carriage System, which gives mounts for most popular extruder and hot end choices on the market. Support: It comes with a full step-by-step build guide, a detailed wiring and electronics guide for multiple controller boards, and support configuration files for several firmware choices. So, how about it? You can either help us build a 500mm square bed Ratrig for Circuit Launch, or buy the kit and build your own with us. Either way, it’s gonna be a rad chance to learn, collaborate, and do some cool stuff together.

If you’re game, give us a shout. We’re doing the builds on Friday nights at Circuit Launch. And if you want a sneak peek of what we’re getting into, check out these videos:
