CCL is coming back to Ginkgo Organic Gardens for the 2026 growing season! Just like last year, we'll have multiple volunteer outings at the garden over the next several months. This was such a rewarding and engaging experience last year, and we got to meet a lot of other cool, environmentally minded volunteers from the community in the process, so we hope you can join. This'll be our first trip there this year, so try to make it out so you can see the garden evolve over the year!

NOTE: Please bring water and close-toed shoes. All equipment will be provided on-site.

Ginkgo Organic Gardens is a community pantry garden in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. They employ sustainable agricultural practices to grow heirloom varieties of fruits and vegetables. They donate their produce to organizations that serve people who struggle with poverty and illness.

Through volunteer work days, Ginkgo provides opportunities for individuals and groups to contribute to the organization’s mission of being stewards of the land while serving others with high-quality food.
