CCL Memphis Chapter Monthly Meeting + National Call Watch Party

Join us for our Memphis chapter’s monthly Citizens’ Climate Lobby meeting at the beautiful Boshi Botanicals! 🌿
We’ll start by watching the CCL National Monthly Meeting together. In this National Call, CCL supporters across the country gather to hear from a guest speaker and prepare for the month’s actions. This is a great way to learn more about climate advocacy and connect with others who care.
What we’ve been up to:

• In July, we participated in national lobby meetings with members of Congress in Washington D.C. to advocate for bold climate action. Last year, nearly 1,000 citizen lobbyists held 442 meetings with lawmakers. It will be interesting to see how the numbers turn out for 2025.
• In April, we wrapped up a local campaign that gathered over 100 letters urging lawmakers to protect the clean energy tax credits in the Inflation Reduction Act—and we hand-delivered those letters to their offices.
• We’ve also just launched our new Memphis chapter and are excited to chart our next steps together!
