City Walks: Alan is Teed Off Walk
Details
The Walk:
Alan is teed off he has to work today so can't walk with us.
Several people have noted that access to Memorial Park is not available this weekend due to the Houston Open. This may have teed him off a bit too. But we can make it all better getting the walk in.
We will do the Sheet Metal Houses of Rice Military from the nearby Cleveland Park. This takes us by several recent examples of this trend in construction with metal siding and of course the famous Beer Can House.

The path is all paved.
Wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. The heat in Texas is always a concern so let someone know if you are having a hard time. Light-colored and loose fitting clothing are recommended. Our organizers are not guides nor do we have any special training. We are here to come up with hiking ideas and get the hike started. Take the same precautions you would if hiking alone, including the fitness needed to make long hikes. Then enjoy the hike among friends.
