*** FREE EVENT *** Harvard & Environs Photowalk

Details
Join us for a unique photo walk through "the Yard" at Harvard with a foray into adjacent photogenic areas in Cambridge, which, with some luck, we will also experience the area dressed in fall foliage.
How to get there: We firmly discourage you from driving to this meetup, as parking in this area of Cambridge is either very expensive or nonexistent. Instead, find a way to take the "T" Red Line to the Harvard station. From north of Cambridge, the Alewife station works well, as it has lots of parking for a reasonable price. From other directions, see the Red Line locations that may work for you on this map.
Where will we meet: We'll meet around the Cambridge Visitor Information Booth, aka Harvard Square Kiosk, that you will see immediately to your right as you emerge from the Harvard subway station. See a satellite view here, and a street view here.
As usual, this event is for any skill level and whether you use a smartphone or a thousands of dollars kit of camera and lenses, you're welcome with us!
If you're a beginner or someone who needs a refresher of photo basics or how to get more out of your camera, we'll have people to help you.
For those who stay and complete the photowalk, we will find a reasonable place to have some food and socialize if you like.
IMPORTANT: Please click on the links in the "Where will we meet" section above to see exactly where we will meet.
See you there!
Our announcement photo above for this event is courtesy of our very own Tony Cortizas ("Photo Guy",) who also designed the route for this month's photo walk...thanks Tony!
If you go to iStock and enter "Harvard" as the search... Here, I'll do it for you...you will find that most of the photos on the first page (and for several pages beyond,) are by our Tony.
