CivicTechBrampton 22nd Meetup Deneille Macas, Toronto Housing Society
Details
Housing is a major issue in Brampton. Can we empower renters using existing information?
TOHS is a grassroots, volunteer-led team launching projects to give Torontonians access to affordable, dignified housing options while educating and unifying the rental community.
Guest Speaker:
Deneille Macas, Owner, Toronto Housing Society https://www.tohs.ca/about and Lead Admin, Toronto Home Zone https://www.facebook.com/groups/torontohomezone
Inviting all technologists, students, and citizens interested in working on Civic Tech projects.
New to Civic Tech? You are definitely welcome! We will all be learning from each other. Just knowing what projects people are working on sparks ideas about new civic tech projects. There will be opportunities to network, and pitch your own project to interested volunteers.
