COVID-19 Toronto: An app created by Zahra Ebrahim through a collaborative effort which helps Torontonians find ways to help, get assistance and even have some fun! https://covidto.glideapp.io/
Zahra is a public interest designer using participatory, human-centred practices to engage citizens in the design of services, policies and infrastructure. For the last fifteen years, she has led some of Canada’s most ambitious participatory infrastructure and policy programs, in an effort to advance fair and just outcomes for cities. Her unique work ties together grassroots organizing and institutional transformation, working to eliminate barriers across groups and populations who don’t typically collaborate.
