Working as a designer in government is always a rich, engaging, challenging experience: doing it on a tight deadline for a project that effects such a large majority of the province is a challenge in the truest sense. Join us for a brief reflection on what it was like to design Verify Ontario, and the potential for rapid prototyping in government. - Speaker:
Joel Schellenberger is a designer, researcher, and maker currently based in Toronto. A University educated, industry experienced designer, Joel is passionate about helping people solve problems and delivering simple, delightful experiences. He has served with the Ontario Digital Service since 2020 and was the Lead Interface/Interaction Designer on Verify Ontario.
