An algorithm register in its most basic form, is a list of the algorithms utilized by government. The primary value of publishing algorithm registers is to enable citizens to identify and mitigate risks of algorithmic decision making to prevent harm for vulnerable and equity seeking groups

    Ushnish Sengupta is an award-winning instructor at the Schulich School of Business at York University and an Open Data enthusiast. Ushnish’s PhD thesis at OISE at the University of Toronto is focused on understanding Data Governance in social economy organizations.
