Topic: The Disruptive Launch of Rate the Landlord

  • Rate the Landlord is a community platform that elevates tenant voices to promote landlord accountability. The site's co-founders will be sharing how they got started, where the site is at today, and what it might become in the future. They will talk about the biggest challenges they have faced, and how they tackled them.

Speakers: Kellen Wiltshire & RJ

  • RJ is a co-founder of Rate the Landlord and PhD student in Toronto. She is passionate about social issues facing residents in the city.
  • Kellen Wiltshire is a co-founder and lead developer of Rate The Landlord. He's a self taught web developer out of the Kingston area.

  • We're meeting in Room 480 of the Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto (55 St. George Street, north of College St.). There will be signs!
