It’s hard to make heads or tails of the City’s budget. As a large and complex city, Toronto has a large and complex budget!
This year, the City has more opportunities than ever before to get involved and share your perspective. Together, let’s:
- talk budget basics
- take a look at the proposed 2024 budget
- dive into divisional budget notes in a breakout

Bio:
Sam McGarva is a Civic Tech Co-organizer who works in a City Councillor’s office on communications, engagement, policy, and directly supporting residents. She has a background in design, research, and policy and strongly believes in the value of civic engagement.

- We're meeting in Room 315 of the Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto (55 St. George Street, north of College St., 3rd floor). There will be signs!
