It’s hard to make heads or tails of the City’s budget. As a large and complex city, Toronto has a large and complex budget!
This year, the City has more opportunities than ever before to get involved and share your perspective. Together, let’s:
- talk budget basics
- take a look at the proposed 2024 budget
- dive into divisional budget notes in a breakout

Bio:
Sam McGarva is a Civic Tech Co-organizer who works in a City Councillor’s office on communications, engagement, policy, and directly supporting residents. She has a background in design, research, and policy and strongly believes in the value of civic engagement.
