This Private Group consists of mature individuals who are serious about fully participating and fostering real friendships with like-minded and professional people.
This is not like other large groups on Meetup. In order to maintain your status in this Private Group, you must please agree and adhere to the following guidelines:
Mandatory Member Guidelines:
-Please RSVP to all events/activities whether you're attending or not
-If something comes up and you can no longer attend the activity/event, please adjust your RSVP through Meetup no later than 48 hours prior to the event
-No show's won't be tolerated and you'll be removed from the Private Group
-If these guidelines aren't adhered to you'll be removed from the Private Group
Other Details:
You will require money to be a part of this Private Group in order to pay for your meals and purchase tickets to events etc. For example, if we meet to play Golf, everyone is responsible to pay for their own entrance fee. If we attend a Jazz festival as a group, everyone is responsible for purchasing their own tickets and paying for any food or drinks purchased at the event.
The purpose of this Group is to make genuine and lasting friendships with like-minded people.
The intent is to have both men and women in this group.
This Private Social Friends Group is For You If:
-You’re in your 40's or 50's
-You’re mature and enjoy clean and professional fun
-You’ve been wanting a good group of friends that you see regularly
-You no longer want to be alone without anyone to do things with
-You’re professional, educated, successful, polite, classy and exhibit social graces

-You know how to conduct yourself properly
-You know how to make people feel comfortable and welcome
-You love being around people and attending social events in Scottsdale and Fountain Hills
-You want a group of friends that support you and are there for you no matter what
-You want a group of friends that you can be yourself around
-You value being healthy and active or want to start with the support of friends
-You don’t mind dressing casually or dressing up based on the activity/event however you can opt out of any activity/event you don’t feel comfortable with or that doesn’t interest you

Please Note:
-Most internal events will take place during the day and early evening and will occur at least once per week. Certain external events of interest to the Group could involve a later evening every so often.
-Given that I’m not native to the area, I welcome all suggestions for activity/event ideas and locations.
-I appreciate when friends of this group who are members of Country Clubs or Golf Clubs are able to share privileges with the group i.e. we plan an afternoon of golf at your Club
-We will be getting together in public places, not private residences
Group Guidelines:
-No marketing or selling your services
-Please be courteous and RSVP to all activities and events
-Please adhere to the RSVP guidelines and provide no less than 48 hours if you have to cancel
-No smoking or drugs of any kind
-You can still join the group even if you don’t drink alcohol
-No drinking and driving
-No drinking to the point that you’re visibly intoxicated
-Please conduct yourself professionally and accordingly at all times
-Please be respectful of all members
-Nefarious behaviour will not be tolerated
-This is not a place for casual ‘hookup’s of any kind or anything else of that sort
