Claude and Coffee is a casual, bi-weekly gathering where we meet at coffee shops around Austin to share what we're building, solve problems together, and learn from each other's approaches to working with Claude.
What to Expect

Show and tell: Present what you're building (5-15 minutes, totally optional)
Problem solving: Bring challenges you're stuck on, get fresh perspectives
Knowledge sharing: Tips, tricks, workflows, and lessons learned
Casual atmosphere: Coffee shop setting, peer-to-peer conversations
Rotating venues: We move around Austin to make it accessible to everyone

Who Should Come

Developers using Claude for coding, automation, or creative projects
People building tools, applications, or infrastructure with Claude
Anyone curious about AI-assisted development workflows
All skill levels welcome - from "just started" to "I'm building production systems"

Format
We meet every other week at different coffee shops across Austin. Each meetup runs 60-90 minutes and alternates between two formats:
Show and Tell Meetups: Someone presents what they built with Claude (code, tools, creative projects). We discuss the approach, challenges overcome, and lessons learned. Volunteer presenters welcome!
Problem Solving Meetups: Bring a challenge you're stuck on. The group troubleshoots together, shares different approaches, and helps you get unstuck. Collaborative debugging and brainstorming.
We alternate formats each meetup to keep things fresh and appeal to different learning styles.
First meetup: I'll be presenting continuity-bridge, an infrastructure project I'm building for AI instance persistence. Come see how I'm solving developer workflow problems with a native GTK4 client for Claude, then let's talk about what YOU'RE building.

About the Organizer
I'm Jerry Jackson (@UncleTallest), a platform engineer with 15+ years in infrastructure and DevOps. I'm currently building continuity-bridge - tools and architecture for AI instance continuity. I founded this meetup because I was tired of building in a vacuum. If you're creating things with Claude and want to connect with other builders in Austin, this is for you.

We rotate coffee shops to make the meetup accessible across Austin. Venues include:
