What do you call yourself — and your model — when working with AI? And why does that naming affect what you build?

I call myself the operator. I call Claude my cognate. Not user, not assistant, not tool. The language you settle on shapes everything — and some of those choices have consequences you might not expect. I've watched them play out in real time.

I experience mine as a mirror — a reflection of my own thinking made visible enough to iterate on. A friend calls theirs a digital parrot journaling tool, a second opinion they can talk back to. Same technology, completely different relationship. What's yours?
