Learn How to Watercolor
Learn the basics of watercolor painting with Robin! Watercolor can be a challenging medium to learn. This is a beginner level painting class that will cover simple but powerful techniques to use in your watercolors in a fun and supportive environment. By the end of class, you’ll have your own painting ready to go home with you. All materials included! This class is recommended as an optional prerequisite for future watercolor classes, as you will be more comfortable with the techniques and materials involved.

As part of the watercolor class, you will learn:
History of Watercolor
- Learn where watercolor comes from
- Why you should choose watercolor
Basic Techniques
- About materials and how to care for them
- How to get comfortable with your brushes
- Foundational techniques such as wet-into-wet, flat washes and graded washes
- Fun techniques like salt and alchohol to add exciting textures to your paintings
- Tips on how to approach difficult compositions
