Clermont Womens 50+ Social - Day Events

Hi and thanks for checking out our group.

Our events consist mostly of lunches, book reads, crafting events and get togethers where we can chat and catch up.   I’m open to any ideas that come up as well. We are a small welcoming group and have gotten to know each other. We welcome you if you are a 50+ lady interested in making friends and enjoying local venues.

I’m new to the Clermont area.  I lived in Palm Beach for 20 years before moving here with my husband and Havanese dog Charlie.  I started this group in an effort to make some new, life-long friends.   So far, it’s going great.   Our group is small, fun and welcoming.   We are getting to know each other and friendships are taking root.

We do not automatically accept all requests to join. We ask a couple of questions and we encourage you to share tidbits to help us assess if you are a good fit since we are a small group.

Now for the basic rules:
The following will not be allowed and will be removed from the group without delay:
—solicitors for any business.
—negative or critical people.
—political and religious discussions (this is a Meetup rule).
—no shows. Changing your rsvp during or right before an event is a no show!

Membership will be declined if:
—your profile has no pic.
—you refuse to answer the general questions or share any information about yourself. One-word answers count as a no answer.
