The CHUG is excited to announce that the next meeting will be held at the Global Center for Health Innovation (http://www.theglobalcenter.com), which is right across from the Marriott (Key Tower). The Global Center is a part of the new Convention Center.

5pm - 6pm - reception at the HIMSS Innovation Center (4th floor) of the Global Center. Pizza and cash bar.

Presentations: (20 minutes per talk)

• How Hadoop Fits Into The Enterprise (Cloudera)

Normally we have a 10-minute "intro to Hadoop" segment in the beginning of each CHUG, but this time we'll have a full 20 minute presentation.

• Graph Processing Implementation Comparisons (GraphSQL)

GraphSQL to walk through a few detailed case studies and comparisons of how one would implement graph processing using RDBMS, MapReduce, and their GraphSQL database.

• Data Ingestion with Flume, Nutch and Sqoop

Sergey to walk through an example of Hadoop data ingestion with Sqoop, Flume, and Nutch.

• SolrCloud on Hadoop (Alex Moundalexis, Cloudera)

Alex to give an overview of building and serving Lucene indexes on a Hadoop cluster with Solr for text and parametric searching.
