"SUNSET BLVD" (1950) 75th Anniversary at Crocker Park

Details
Are you ready for your close-up? If so, this movie is for you.
SUNSET BLVD (1950) is often considered one of the greatest films of all time. The crackling screenplay by Billy Wilder and Charles Blackett tells the story of Norma Desmond (Gloria Swanson), a faded silent film star who is planning a "return" to the Silver Screen in 1950's Hollywood. She pulls hack screenwriter Joe Gillis (William Holden) into her web of delusion with fascinating results. With the great Erich von Stroheim as her loyal butler Max and a cameo by numerous film stars of the silent era, SUNSET BLVD is guaranteed to deliver a top-notch afternoon at the movies.
I have pre-purchased my ticket in seat F3. I recommend purchasing your ticket in advance as this screening will be very popular.

Even if we can't all sit together for the film I hope you will still attend. We can meet in the lobby afterwards before heading over to Yard House for dinner and conversation.
