About us
This is a group for anyone interested in improv, comedy, acting, seeing live comedy, getting over their fear of being in front of people, or just having some fun. All skill levels are welcome. Events will include open jams where you'll learn improv basics and try your hand at games and scenes. The group will also provide great pathways into the Cleveland comedy scene like workshops, extended classes, and live comedy shows.
PLEASE NOTE: Sign-ups for Imposters Theater events are primarily through our website, so the number 'Attending' here on meetup does not reflect actual attendance.

Improv comedy is the foundation we use to explore how much we can make using nothing but our bodies and imagination. Whether you are new to improv or have been in a troupe since the dawn of Chicago, the Play Lab is a space for us to meddle with our funny.
