"R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics" - The R Project
This group is designed for novice to expert R users to share tips, ideas, and experiences. Meetings will be designed to learn and challenge. A typical meetup will consist of brief socializing and a presentation. Added entertainment may consist of members discussing uncommon (but effective) uses for R, fun applications they've created, various competitions, etc.

Did you miss out on this year's posit::conf in Chicago? No worries! Posit has graciously provided us with early access to the recordings and also sent us a bunch of swag.
We'll meet at 6 pm in the Hope Room at the Orange Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library to watch a few of the presentations. We can vote then, but if you know there is a presentation you want to see, please post it in the comments below. Posit sent us enough hex stickers for everyone to take as many as they like. We'll raffle off the larger items -- using sample() of course -- which include two water bottles and three t-shirts (S, M, XL).
For those that are interested in hanging out afterwards, around 7 we'll head to Fisher's American Tavern (28020 Miles Rd, Solon, OH 44139), about a 10 minute drive from the library.
