I have choosen Over the Edge for a zoom discussion which is about kids growing up in a planned community that is suppost to be the ideal suburb to have a family. The only thing is with nothing for kids to do in suburbia they tend to get into trouble. I was 12 years old in 1979, my future Jr. high school was open during the summer with a small gym, a basketball court, soccer field and snacks you could buy at snack time. This film was kind of made to warn kids about getting into trouble, but you can decide for yourself if it does that.

If kids were bored in 1979 , just think about the problems that covid brought in 2020 for young people. This film is reminds me of the time period that it was made and it's free to watch this film on You Tube. The 1979 soundtract in this film is great. I am looking foward to having a zoom discussion about Over The Edge.
