When brown bears, reintroduced to the lofty Pyrenees mountains by the French government, attack flocks of sheep, tensions arises between conservationists and the locals who maintain a centuries-old tradition of living off the land. This documentary views the conflict through the eyes of Yves, a wizened shepherd nearing retirement, and Cyril, an environmentally conscious teenage photographer, the son of a local farmer.

Here's the trailer

“A wistful, melancholy string, woodwind and piano soundtrack by composer Amine Bouhafa contributes to the universal resonance of this story.” - Screen Daily
