Thirty-ish small-time hustler Bela “Willie” Molnar answers the phone in his shabby New York apartment. It’s his aunt Lotte calling to tell him that his Hungarian cousin Eva, who is coming to live with Lotte in Cleveland, will first spend ten days with Willie in New York. Though initially annoyed, Willie grows to like Eva during her stay. A year later, Willie and his friend Eddie drive to Cleveland to visit Eva, and the three go on a road trip to Florida. Director Jim Jarmush’s deadpan comedy won the Camera d’Or (Best First Film) at Cannes.

SPECIAL NOTE: Eszter Balint who plays Eva, will take questions after the film.
